Counseling is more than just a profession. Like ministry, it’s a calling to those who have deep compassion and the capacity to help others work through hardships so they can achieve God’s purpose for their lives.
A member of Greenwood’s Emmanuel Church, Audra began her pursuit of that calling by earning an honors undergraduate degree in Psychology from University of Southern Indiana. While a student, she lived her mission to help others by working as a tutor and a supplemental instructor.
Audra is currently working on a Master of Social Work at Indiana Wesleyan University. Once she completes that degree, she plans to earn her Counseling certification and deepen her knowledge of therapy for people who have experienced trauma and abuse. She hopes to specialize in helping teenage girls navigate the many challenges they face. When she isn’t studying, Audra is an avid reader and baker.
