Jennifer’s journey to Care to Change began with helping others plan their own journeys as a travel agent. When she became a mother, she returned to school to become certified in early-childhood education. After losing her husband, she began to attend a grief support group, where she met Mark, a widowed father. They married and blended their families in 2006.
As Jennifer’s children entered adulthood, she felt a call to minister to God’s children and began to pursue a career in counseling. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Theology and Pastoral Counseling from Johnson University and has a master’s in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University.
Her specialties include marriage and family counseling (with a particular focus on issues associated with blended families), as well as working with teens and women. She’s a certified pre-marriage and marriage Prepare/Enrich and SY
She appreciates the support, encouragement, and accountability available at Care to Change, particularly the meetings, workshops, and retreats that have been designed to keep each counselor growing in his or her strengths, spiritual life, and personal well-being. Jennifer and Mark call Brownsburg home and are active members of Traders Point Christian Church.
